Rules of the road

The entire airport car park is subject to the Highway Code, with a maximum speed limit of 15 km/h. The staff will control the movement and parking of vehicles in the parking area. Vehicles may be stored in a locked state, with the electronic and mechanical protection installed. The traffic regulations apply until the vehicle leaves the gate of the airport car park.

Security measures

When entering the car park, the operator, in accordance with data protection legislation, records data for verification, proof and security purposes necessary for the use of the car park: the data contained in the vehicle registration certificate; the current condition of the vehicle, which is signed by both the operator and the customer. The operator will use the data exclusively for the operation of the airport car park and will keep it for 30 days after the termination of the contract and then destroy it. The data and photographic images may be disclosed by the operator to public authorities only upon their formal documented request and for official use necessary for the operation of the public authority. When parking commences, the operator will issue the customer with a parking card containing the car and the customer's details on the basis of the above documents and data recording (the person named on the parking card or duly authorised by him/her is entitled to take over the car after parking has ended). When exiting with a vehicle, the person holding the keys to the vehicle and presenting the parking card shall be deemed to be the customer in legal possession of the vehicle, unless there is obvious doubt. The parking card must be kept by the customer and handed over to the staff when parking is completed. In the absence of this, the person holding the registration document is deemed to be the person entitled to take the vehicle. The operator shall not be liable for any damage or additional costs resulting from the loss of the parking card. The operator is not liable for any dirt or damage caused during outdoor storage. The Operator does not inspect or record any property placed or left in the passenger and luggage compartments of the vehicle, and therefore any liability in relation to such property is excluded. The operator shall not be liable for any property left in the passenger and luggage compartments of the vehicle, in particular audio, video or telecommunications and navigation equipment. Apart from fuel, no fire or explosive hazards, live animals, substances dangerous to public health, chemicals, toxic, perishable, radiating or other harmful substances, or any other object the possession of which is prohibited by law, may be stored in the parked vehicle. If this is suspected, the operator shall notify the authority and proceed as the authority directs. The operator shall not be liable for any damage resulting from any breach of this obligation, and the customer shall be liable for the payment of any damage. In the event of a dispute concerning the condition of the vehicle, the burden of proving against the condition recorded by the operator shall be borne by the customer. The costs of proving against the condition shall not be borne by the operator even if the dispute is successful.

Airport shuttle service

The operator provides a shuttle bus service for its customers between the car park and the airport terminals Ferihegy 2A and 2/B. The airport shuttle service is free of charge and there is no charge for the shuttle service. If the customer does not wish to use the shuttle service, there will be no change to the charges as the shuttle service is free of charge. The airport shuttle service is available upon receipt of the parking card for the requested terminal. On the return journey, after the aircraft has landed, please indicate your request for a free transfer on the telephone number on the parking card. The transfer service will be provided by the operator on request. The operator undertakes to provide the shuttle bus within 0-15 minutes on arrival and within 15-18 minutes on return. The journey time between the car park and the terminals is approximately 10 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. It is in the sole interest of the customer to take into account the above time requirements to the extent necessary for his journey. The operator will make every effort to ensure that passengers reach the airport or the car park within the time indicated above, but cannot be held responsible for any unavoidable technical, traffic or official delays. Claims for access to aircraft are excluded. The staff will assist customers in boarding and disembarking safely, and in packing their luggage. The operator may exclude from the service any customer who, in its judgement, is not in a fit state to travel safely (visibly intoxicated or intoxicated persons). The customer, as a passenger, also undertakes to comply with the applicable traffic regulations and the requirements of civilised travel.
We are unable to provide child seats during the transfer, as this is not required by the Highway Code for passenger transport companies.
Of course, if you would like to put your own child seat in our transfer car, we can arrange that.

Tariffs

The current rates are available on our website or in our office. The client pays the parking fee in cash on departure (payment can be made in Euros, but we can return the car in HUF). The client acknowledges that he/she may leave the car park after paying the parking fee, and in case of dispute the car may be retained by the staff. In the event of a dispute over payment, the customer may not make any further claims for the retention of the vehicle. If the vehicle is to be removed from the car park by a person who is unable to produce a parking card, the operator will also examine the right of disposal separately. The staff shall ask the driver to prove his identity and to present the document proving ownership. If the driver and the person indicated in the document proving ownership are not the same, the original of a private power of attorney with the legible signature and address of at least two witnesses shall also be provided. In the event of doubt, the operator is entitled to request official action, which may be taken by the authorities, pending which the vehicle may be detained. Any direct or indirect claim against the operator arising from a dispute over the right to dispose of the vehicle is excluded.

In addition, the operator is not responsible for the actions of third parties, in particular for damage, vandalism, theft, burglary, caused by them intentionally and beyond their control, irrespective of whether the third party is in the car park legally or unauthorisedly, provided that the above rules are fully observed and complied with.
